Bitmain has released another miner, announcing the imminent release of the revolutionary asic Bitmain Antminer Z9 MINI in May 2018. Its price is equal to the cost of two video cards, but the power is similar to the result of 13-15 1080 Ti video cards. This device has a hash rate of 10 ksols per second with a modest power consumption of 300 W, which is usually enough for only one overclocked top-end video card.
The developers have implemented the lucrative Equihash algorithm for mining Bitcoin Gold, BitcoinZ, Zcash, ZenCash, KomodoZero, Hush and many others.
The Z9 mini-device weighs only 3.5 kg and is enclosed in an aluminum case with side rails for collecting horizontal mining farms. Two coolers on the end surfaces of the case regulate the removal of heat generated during operation.
The performance of this ASIC is equivalent to the power of 12 overclocked graphics cards (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti)
